Medicare Alert
Unless Congress affirmatively acts, there is a 21.2% cut in Medicare physician payments scheduled for March 1st. While we are hopeful for a “fix” prior to the deadline, we still need to push back on this.
Physicians and their staffs are urged to immediately contact their U.S. House Member and out two Colorado Senators to explain the impact on access to care for the elderly if this scheduled 21.2% cut in Medicare reimbursement is allowed to take effect.
Dr. Susan Hemley, Dr. Paul Jones and Dr. Mike Pramenko will be traveling to Washington, D.C. the week of March 1st to lobby for a permanent fix to the flawed Medicare payment formula.
