Dr. James W. Jackson, Founder Project C.U.R.E.
Chief Medical Officer, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Denver
Dr. Jackson is a successful businessman, award-winning author and
humanitarian. As the founder of Project C.U.R.E. he traveled to more
than 150 countries, assessing healthcare facilities, meeting with government
leaders and "delivering health and hope" in the form of medical supplies and
equipment to the world's most needy people.
Dr. Jackson is also a renowned cultural economist and international
consultant, helping organizations and governments to apply sound economic
principals to the transformation of culture so that everyone is "better off".
He recently published a book entitled, "The Happiest Man in the World":
Life Lessons from a Cultural Economist, in which he shares his life story, the
development of Project C.U.R.E. as the world's leading distributor of donated
medical supplies and equipment to developing country healthcare facilities
and the best practices that he learned for "Building a Business of Goodness."
Our thanks to Dr. Rebecca Mashburn for her help in arranging Dr. Jackson's
visit to Grand Junction. As many of you know, Dr. Mashburn has been a
volunteer with Project C.U.R.E. for many years.
